Once the order has left the premises, you are responsible for the cake and any damages that may occur during transportation, set up or anytime thereafter.
You should prepare your vehicle so it is clean and free of items that can roll or slide into the cake. Cake must be placed on a flat surface. (Cake must be kept in a cool place, Ideally between 60-70⁰ to prevent melting or smudging of frosting) Avoid placing cake in direct sunlight. Keep the car temperature cool and if possible, use air conditioning or cooler bag to keep the temperature low. To keep the cake box in place during transport, it is recommended to use seatbelts or bungee cords to secure the box to the car seat. Note that cakes are fragile and may break easily, avoid sudden stops or turns and drive smoothly to insure the cake arrives in perfect condition.
